Are your colours PPD free?

We have several PPD and PTD / TDS -free colour ranges for clients with specific allergies; make sure you discuss your needs with us.

PPD is the most common chemical pigment that is used to colour hair both permanently and semi permanently.

The main alternative to the PPD pigment is PTD / TDS, a practically identical chemical, which can be less sensitising in some people. The darker the shade of colour the more PPD or PTD / TDS is present, however our permanent colour range has very low levels of PPD – at approximately six times less than the industry regulation maximum, and an average of 0.37% across the range, an incredibly low level.

If you are colouring your hair with a light brown or blonde colour, PPD and PTD / TDS is much less of a concern as the concentration of it in these shades is negligible
